The Laziest Riders
I picked up a rider the other day.
As I swiped the app to indicate start of journey and also find out where he's going, I asked "So let's see where we are going today..."
He said "Tra-fal-gar".
I thought "Is that a new suburb? How far is that?"
He kept repeating "Trafalgar". I looked at the app and it said it's 2 minutes.
I said "Trafalgar Place?"
He said "Yeah."
According to Google Maps, it's 1.1km and would have taken him 12 minutes to walk there. We are talking no traffic lights, very easy walking. Only have cross two streets (with no traffic lights).
This is a guy of between 18 and 21.
I thought his trip was the shortest but the girl who went to UTS Library was still the shortest (if she had walked).
Would they have called a Taxi to do this?
